This is a lovely pashmina which as promised in the description does indeed have a "silk softness". It's light enough for summer use but heavy enough to keep off a chill and drape beautifully.

Colours on screen to real life are often tricky and in real life compared to my screen this pashmina is quite a bit brighter than shown. This is fine for me as I like bright colours, but it is a little sharper than the more muted purple shown in the photos.

In the photo it looks sort of matt and smooth, but in real life it's brighter, catching the light and shows the weave of the fabric. Again this is fine for me and it feels smooth, soft and silky - it just looks a little different to the picture so just be aware of that when you order.

For the price it's a great wrap which for me has a little touch of luxury with the softness and feel for something I'll be using as an everday pashmina.
